A Winner

In the renowned Iron Bowl between Auburn and Alabama, The undefeated Auburn Tigers put their undefeated streak on the line against a good Alabama Tide team. With last years Heisman trophy winner Mark Ingram Alabama was suspect o have a great season. With two losses on their record a loss against Auburn would of spelled disaster for their season. But with Auburn having this years leading Heisman candidate in Cam Newton Alabama had an uphill battle. Cam Newton a proven winner has lead Auburn this season leading the team in rushing and passing yards. With all the negative publicity following him he has still manager to find ways to win despite the allegations and bad press. With speculations of him receiving money for going to school the wins that he has earned with the team maybe for fitted and any trophy won could be revoked. With all this news going around Newton is still able to focus on the game and lead his team to victories. With people so quick to judge this student athlete as a bad guy, he continues to prove them wrong with his charisma and drive to win. He prove that today by leading his team to a one point come back win against a good Alabama team. Late in the game down 6 points Newton drove his team down field converting on a big fourth down play to keep the drive alive, eventually leading his team with a touchdown pass to take the lead 28-27. In a time were people are so quick to judge and criticize these student athletes who makes these schools rich, its important to not lose site of greatness when you see it and that's what we are seeing in Newton; Greatness. So, with Newton on the verge of getting the Heisman the question is should he get it because of the allegations, since there is a possibility that he might have to give it back like Reggie Bush did. Me personally i think he is the best college football player and he has earned every award he receives.
