KG: The Trash Talker
During a game against the Detroit Pistons, forward of the Boston Celtics Kevin Garnette allegedly called forward of the Detroit Pistons Charlie Villanueva a “cancer patient”. This information was spilled out in a rant by Villanueva on his Twitter page, calling out Garnette on his trash talking and saying that he would “love to get in a ring with him” and he would, “expose him”. Big words coming from a guy who waited until he was home after the game to express how he felt. I mean that’s just like getting into an argument with someone and waiting until you got home to put on Facebook that you would expose them in a fight. It doesn’t make sense to me. If Villanueva was so hurt by the remarks he should of did something on the court, not waited until he got home; that’s soft. As far as calling someone a cancer patient, I don’t see the harm in it because it was in the heat of the moment on the basketball court and he was talking trash; much worse has been said on a court. So, Mr. Villanueva stop worrying about the name calling and focus on getting a win.
