The Honorable Pierce
Last night on Nov 3, 2010 Celtics forward Paul Pierce became the third player in celtic history to reach 20,000 points; the other two players, Larry Bird and John Havlicek. Even though he is the 36th person in NBA history to do this, it is honorable because he scored all 20,000 points as a Celtic. Since entering the league in 1999 Pierce has only been with one team. In the era we live in today with big name players asking to be traded every year, it is classy to see one guy fight through the tough times with a team and eventually become successful. So, as we recongnize Pierce and his accomplishments, lets embrace most his loyalty to a great organization.
