The long awaited date of Lebron James’s return home to Cleveland was a total disappointment for not only Cleveland fans but for NBA fans. James was welcomed by his former teammates with grace as they hugged and slapped each other fives as if nothing ever happen. This attitude of sympathy for James reflected on the court as the Cavalier players didn’t put up any resistance. James ended up with 38 points as he scored 24 in the third and didn’t play in the fourth. Besides the first quarter adrenaline rush that was powered by the fans, the Cavaliers laid down as the Heat ran over them by 28 points; leaving the final score 118-90. For Cleveland fans the Lebron James dispute should be over, he came, he saw, and he conquered, despite all the negative chants and hateful things they said. Even though James left in a terrible way, which should have left a terrible taste in Cleveland fans mouths, he did give them their only national televised game this season, and he gave them an entertaining show just like he used to do. While he made numerous of unbelievable shots in the third quarter and jogged down the court with a smirk on his face like, there was nothing anyone in that area could of did to stop that performance. James left Cleveland as the winner, not only because he won the game but because his performance spoke louder than the Cleveland fans.
